Camp Ballad
We were going back to Wood Badge,
and then someone got the flu.
So now we've delayed camping
and I don't know what to do.
I'm feeling kind of lonely,
'cause instead of five, we're four.
But we're going to work our tickets if we can.

Back to Gilwell, happy land—
'til COVID-19 messed up all our plans.
I used to be a Beaver,
and a good ol’ Beaver too,
But now I’m finished Beavering,
(and) I don’t know what to do.
I’m growing old and feeble,
And I can Beaver no more,
So I’m going to work my ticket if I can.
Back to Gilwell, happy land;
I’m going to work my ticket if I can.
